Emily Procter

 

Emily Mallory Procter (born October 8th 1988,) is an American activist and actress. She was Ainsley Hayes's role in The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002 and 2006) and also played Det. Calleigh Duquesne, CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on the night of October 8th of 1968. At the age of a newborn, she was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. After her parents divorced, she was just three years old. of age. Whit is her elder brother, and she is also an adopted child.



 



 Ravenscroft School, Raleigh was Procter's school. While at East Carolina University, Procter became a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter was a TV anchor on news for WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. Procter eventually earned degrees in journalism dance.
